NEWSEntries flooding in for 201125 March 2011 All eyes have recently been focused on our collaboration with Yacht Club Costa Smeralda for the inaugural Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous, recently held in the British Virgin Islands. On the other side of the Atlantic we are teaming up with YCCS once again to organise the popular Mediterranean summer event: the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta. Registrations have been flooding in thick and fast with a fantastic list of 18 yachts already committed to participate in the fourth edition of this annual regatta which will be held on the Costa Smeralda between 7 and 11 June 2011. The leading shipyards who proudly sponsor the event are well represented this year. Fitzroy Yachts’ Ganesha will be returning to defend her 2010 title of winner overall and will be racing against the 49.7m Zefira, also from Fitzroy, Alloy Yachts’ new 58.4m Kokomo, Royal Huisman’s 57.79m Twizzle, Vitters’ 54.64m Marie and a number of yachts from Southern Wind Shipyard, which has recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, including the newly launched 28.6m Kiboko. We look forward to once again welcoming a diverse fleet of the world’s finest sailing yachts to Porto Cervo in June, with the continued support of our title sponsor, Loro Piana. Third time Gold Sponsor Fitzroy Yachts will be hosting a race day and the sailing yachts will be supported on the water by a fleet of tenders including some of the finest designs from Maxi Dolphin and C-Tender.
